Girl from Venus Diner
The Girl from Venus Diner is part of a much grander multi-media project that I will gladly share when it is complete. Suffice it to say, these works, or studies, are a method for me to gather relevant material for the broader project. This is a collaborative effort. These studies are inspired by the original photography of many artists on Instagram.

About this Process
As previously stated, this work is part of a broader, more ambitious project. Many of the original images are from photographers & artists discovered on Instagram. I utilized their work to make new work by recontextualizing the visuals and then experimenting with other drawing & painting mediums focusing on creating enticing marks. The end result is a series of abstracts for a character that I am creating. More to come on this project.
